Rome, 8 January 2019 — the experimental course “New Real Estate Manager: a new concept of psychophysical wellbeing in cities and workplace,” as part of the “R.E.New.AL Skills” (Real Estate New Alternative Skills) project, co-funded by Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, implemented by the Lead Applicant Masterandskills (a business School from Rome) with a relevant European partnership will begin on Friday 11th January, at University La Sapienza in Rome (Economy Department). The project aims to introduce new managers with innovative skills in the European Real Estate market, in order to design urban and work spaces focusing facility and asset management, workers' health and well-being and productivity.

The RENewAL Learning Programme is the result of an intense year of researches and studies carried out by partners, in the Real Estate and Facility sector in order to draft guidelines for the definition of the essential skills for future real estate managers.

The course, which will involve 20 European talents, carefully selected among recent graduates and experts in the Real Estate sector, is aimed at defining and promoting a new set of knowledge, skills and competences in the field of Real Estate, able to fill the pre-existing training gaps and to integrate, in the educational path, the knowledge on Health and Wellbeing for the development of innovative and profitable solutions in Workplace Management environment.

The participants will attend 11 modules in relevant fields of Real Estate with formal, informal, and work-based learning techniques; they will be involved in the analysis of case studies, participate to in-class discussions and exercises on the “traditional” areas of Real Estate Management, focusing particularly on Facility Management.

Real estate partners, technical partners in the field of Health and Wellbeing and VET providers will contribute to the production of training contents  in a multidisciplinary research team and,  as stakeholders, they will be able to discuss within a Permanent Forum on the promotion of the Learning Outcomes of the "RENew.Al.
